Bearded Belgian D'Anver Quail


Qualities to work towards in breeding
your Belgian D'anvers up for show:
*Their back should be broad, very short, sloping downward from
shoulders.
*Avoid Squirrel Tails: the males tail should be carried at an
angle of 75 degrees above horizontal, the females tail should be
carried at an angle of 65 degrees above horizontal.
*Neck should be thick and well arched.

At the ILL-MO Bantam Club Show Nov. 2001 our Belgian Bearded D'anver Quails recieved Best of Breed and Best of Variety on a Belgian Bearded D'anver Quail Hen and Reserve Breed and Reserve Variety on a Belgian Bearded D'anver Quail hen. At the Red Hill Bantam Club Nov. 2001 we received Best of Breed and Best of Variety on a Belgian Bearded D'anver Quail Hen and Reserve Breed and Reserve Variety on a Belgian Bearded D'anver Quail Cock.
